Catherine Thompkins

Catherine Thompkins has been a teacher at E. Melvin Honeycutt Elementary for 19 years.  She is currently a 5th grade AIG teacher.  She attended UNCW for her undergraduate degree and FSU for her graduate degree.

Favorite snack:  Candy Corn 
If she wasn’t a teacher, she’d be a….: Stay at home mother

Teachers and their family

Congratulations to Mrs. Linda Good and Mrs. Perry Moses for representing Honeycutt Elementary School as our Teacher of the Year and Instructional Assistant of the Year.  Mrs. Good is one of our wonderful music teachers.  She truly makes music the heart of Honeycutt.  Mrs. Moses does great work with our young students every single day.  Kudos to these two wonderful ladies.  We are proud to have you as fellow Panthers!

There is a great way to do this.  Teachers would like to provide the latest technology for their classes.  These funds get paid for by generous donations from the community including parents and businesses.  Some of our teachers at E.
