Ashley Wilson has been a teacher at E. Melvin Honeycutt Elementary for 2 years.  She is currently a 2nd grade teacher.  She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in Asheville.

Field Days

Tuesday, April 2nd                           K and 1st grades
Wednesday, April 3rd                     2nd and 3rd grades (Jacobsen on 4/4/19)
Thursday, April 4th                          4th and 5th (Jacobsen’s 3rd grade)

We need your help!  On these 3 days we will provide outdoor activities for over 900 students.  Many volunteers are needed to run stations from 8:30-12 each day.  These volunteers will not be assisting with a specific class; classes will rotate to your station.  Volunteers are also needed to help set-up stations from 6:00am – 8:30am.  Use this link to sign up online. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080E44ADAE2DAAFB6-field

If you wish to assist with a specific class, please contact the child’s homeroom teacher directly. 

All volunteers at Honeycutt must complete a volunteer background check by visiting www.ccsvolunteers.com.  (The background check could take several days, apply early!)

In addition to volunteers, we also need supplies. 
Zuru Bunch O Balloons (self-sealing waterballons) $7.88 at Wal Mart. 
Super Miracle Bubbles (100oz.) $5.67 at Wal Mart.
Assorted DURABLE sand toys.

Teachers and their family

Congratulations to Mrs. Linda Good and Mrs. Perry Moses for representing Honeycutt Elementary School as our Teacher of the Year and Instructional Assistant of the Year.  Mrs. Good is one of our wonderful music teachers.  She truly makes music the heart of Honeycutt.  Mrs. Moses does great work with our young students every single day.  Kudos to these two wonderful ladies.  We are proud to have you as fellow Panthers!
