I am privileged to have the opportunity to be a part of the Honeycutt Panther Family. I have had a life-long passion for working with children and feel very grateful for the opportunity to serve as Honeycutt’s Assistant Principal. It is important for our students to be connected to the school through positive relationships and a strong sense of community. I believe that all of us – the school and the community – must work together as an extended family to ensure success for all our students. I support Honeycutt’s collaborative culture and know we will work together to make this a successful experience for all students.

Degrees and Certifications:

Assistant Principal

I am humbled, grateful, and honored to be selected as the new assistant principal of E. Melvin Honeycutt Elementary. I look forward to building authentic relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community at-large. I have previously served as an instructional assistant, teacher, academic coach, and now an assistant principal. Working together we can continue the excellent traditions of Honeycutt, and achieve great things. Each stakeholder plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining our school culture; together we will work collaboratively to ensure student success, empower our staff, support our parents, and engage the community. Dr. Haim Ginott once stated, “If we treat people as they are, we make them worse. If we treat people as they ought to be, we help them become what they are capable of becoming.” I look forward to helping our students become what they are capable of becoming.
